This Hybrid 50 hour Eyelash Technician program is designed for anyone looking to learn eyelash extensions application, fill and removal. This class leads to CT Licensure and students receive a certificate from CBI, upon completion.

Day and evening classes are available in which students learn skills in a hands-on environment under the eyes of caring and professional staff, bolstered by a Curriculum that prepares students to obtain an Certificate of completion for the Hybrid 50-Hour Eyelash Technician Program
The program places high emphasis on learning excellent communication skills coupled with knowledge, technical skills, problem solving, decision making, documentation and teaching/training responsibilities. Through lecture and laboratory skill practice, students learn procedural skills. The classroom is equipped with equipment to practice skills. An emphasis on academics and hands on skills training, graduates of CBI Eyelash Technician Program are well prepared for the requirements of the Hybrid 50-Hour Eye Lash Program, as well as to be successfully employed in spas or start their own business.
Description of CBI
The school is in a large building estimated at 8000sq ft, with the Eyelash Program on the second floor. Consisting of a conference room/break room, training room/lab and office space. The classroom will accommodate up to 10 students comfortably and has a reference library located within the room. The skills room consists of state-of-the-art new training equipment. We have 4 bathrooms and 35 parking spaces

Admission Policy: The students must be 16 years of age or older and have graduated 9th grade of high school in order to enroll in and attend the Hybrid 50 hour Eyelash Technician program at Connecticut Business Institute. Students must provide proof of age and completion of 9th grade. Students medical form must be completed to enroll at Connecticut Business Institute. Prior criminal records may prevent students from obtaining employment and/or state license. Please refer to Department of Public Health website to obtain information regarding licensing and for information on employment, contact Ct Dept of Labor.

Re-Admission Policy: Students who have withdrawn from the 50 Hour Hybrid Eyelash Technician Program may return within 60 days from the first date of withdrawal. If students return past 60 days of withdrawal, students will be required to pay the full cost of the Tuition, Application Fee and restart the program from the beginning and complete 50 hours of the program.
Student Withdrawal Policy: Students may choose to withdrawal from the program before the start of the program or during the program. Students should inform the school director upon immediate decision to withdrawal from the program. Connecticut Business Institute does not require the student to notify the School of withdrawal in writing and any withdrawal will be based on the last date of verifiable attendance.
Attendance Policy: Students must be on time based on class schedule assigned. Students arriving late to class must contact and inform the school director. All absences and missed hours must be made up upon availability of the instructor and student
Code of Conduct Policy: The use of Drug or Alcohol before or during school hours will result in immediate dismissal. There will be no use of Drugs or Alcohol on or around the school premises. Students carrying any weapon(s) including guns, knives, sharp or unidentifiable objects that is dangerous and potentially harmful to the staff and other students will result in immediate termination and dismissal.
Termination Policy: The use of any drugs or alcohol during school hours will result in immediate termination. Unacceptable disrespectful behavior including use of profanity, racism, sexual harassment, and arguments with other students or staff members will result in immediate termination. Theft of any kind on the school property will result in termination. All theft including stealing school records, school passwords, school products and equipment.
All violence including verbal or non-verbal threats to the school, staff members, and other students conducted by the student results in immediate termination. All violent acts at school will result in immediate termination. Failure to meet conduct, grading policy, attendance, and payment obligation will result in termination.
Refund Policy: Connecticut Business Institute provides 100% refund of the tuition, if the student cancels within 72 hours before the first day of class. If a student has completed more than 50% of the program and drops out there will be no refund. If a student drops out before completing 50% of the program, the student can make arrangements to start where the student has left off at in the program. There is no refund for the application fee, textbooks, or Supplies.
Placement Information/Employment Policy: Connecticut Business Institute assists in helping our students with job placement, yet Connecticut Business Institute will not guarantee job placement. Connecticut Business Institute does not guarantee employment. Late fee: There will be a $25 Late fee on all late payment

At a minimum, students must achieve the following: a passing grade of B 80% or above Passing grade shall include the Skills, student evaluation and exam combined
Any student absents during a preassigned test/exam and/or lab competency date will receive zero as a grade. Make-up will be given only for excused absences. Make up work is the student's responsibility. The student must arrange with the instructor a correct time and place to accomplish the makeup work and or exam. It is the students' responsibility to seek the instructor's guidance at the time when a problem area is initially encountered, not after receiving an unsatisfactory grade. Arrangements for the special tutoring must be made with the appropriate instructor. Makeup work, instructor guidance, and special tutoring is provided at no additional cost to the student. If a student fails a test there is remediation and it must be scheduled with the instructor.
Please Note Since the enrollment agreement is the legal contract between the school and a student, it must include, at minimum, the information outlined above. In order for the enrollment agreement to be a legally binding document. It must be signed by all parties and a fully executed copy must be provided to the student, with the original maintained in the students school file.
Complaint/ Inquiry Policy and Procedure
If any student has a complaint or feels that he/she is being treated unfairly, first go to your instructor to discuss it and then if that doesn’t seem to resolve the issue, go to the Director of the school. If the student feels his/her issue is not resolved or is not being addressed fairly, the student may contact and file a complaint.
CBI does not have any policy nor acts in any manner which discourages or prohibits the filing of inquiries or complaints regarding the school's operation with the Executive Director of Higher Education, CBI school's procedure for resolving complaints regarding the schools operation, and if the complaint cannot be resolved between the student and the school,
